How to make the most out of a Basic (free) MP3tunes account

The Basic account gives the ability to only upload music only from the web, and not from your computer. So, let's start from the beginning:

    1. First off, create a new account if you don't already have one. Here we will concentrate on the Basic (free) account. Of course, having the Premium would be good!

    2. Once that's done, go to the Downloads page and download the browser plugin. It is available for Internet Explorer or Firefox. I'm an avid Firefox user, so installed that version! What the plugin does [in Firefox] is that it recognises music files in webpages, and put a little icon next to them. Now we'll see how that comes in useful...

    3. Using this little helpful tip from lifehacker, we search the Internet for free music. See where we're going? I tend to use google for finding music of interest in this manner (sometimes there's interesting music files on del.icio.us as well); and that's when the MP3tunes plugin comes in handy. I just need to click the icon next to the music files, and they get uploaded to my storage ( they call it Locker) space. No need for copy+paste and such!

    4. Listen to music! The first time I did this, it took a while until I found the music that suited my taste! (Hint: have a look at some previous posts to get an idea!) After that, everytime you come across something you like, just click the icon and it'll get uploaded there and then! This is my method of using mp3Tunes.com, which I hope someone will also use and enjoy.

If you have any other ways of using the service, or use a totally different method, feel free to leave a comment and share your idea!
