    Blog gooo points to some interesting tips on how to mind map more effectively. I think my favourite tips would have to be

    • Use just keywords;
    • Put ideas down as they occur, wherever they fit. Don't judge or hold back;
    • Use visual aids.

    When your mindmaps get too big, you can go 3D with 3D Topicscape. It uses the mindmapping paradigm, but does not enforce a strict hierarchy, so you can put a keyword under several parents, without duplication.
