Blog gooo points to some interesting tips on how to mind map more effectively. I think my favourite tips would have to be

• Use just keywords;
• Put ideas down as they occur, wherever they fit. Don't judge or hold back;
• Use visual aids.

Anyone who's into GTD, is also familiar with Mind Mapping, which was popularised (coined) by the psychology author Tony Buzan. Wikipedia describes mind maps as

A mind map (or mind-map) is a diagram used for linking words and ideas to a central key word or idea. It is used to visualize, classify, structure, and generate ideas, as well as an aid in study, problem solving, and decision making.

You can learn more about mind maps, if not familiar yet, in the full wiki entry. There are several commercial products available for mind mapping, that I have come across on the Internet a few times; one of them being MindJet, and the other being Mindgenius which is made by Tony Buzon's company. I haven't used any of them, so can't say much about them! But I did come across this one a few days ago which I've given a spin! FreeMind was featured on sourceforge as their February Project of the Month. I hadn't heard or seen any reviews of it before (unlike MindJet, which I've heard of before), so I thought I'd give it a try and write a little about it.

Nik Cubrilovic has posted his interesting find on Google Video... a so called Easter Egg! According to his blog, you go to Google Video, then enter 'hardcore porn' as your search item and then simply press enter! There! I wonder how Nik came across such a find... Hmm..!

I don't like Nintendo DS, but am a big Mario fan, so a big thumbs up!

Interesting new feature that's was introduced by Wordpress.com's blog is the Next Blog feature! Similar to the Blogger next blog button on the top corner! I think this is a great feature, as it gives you a chance to read blogs you wouldn't have otherwise! And maybe even find a few new favourites!

I wrote about Songbird back in November. Very interesting project, built on the Mozilla engine and based on XUL (XML User Interface Langauge).

I was listening to Isobel Campbell's new single called Ramblin' Man today! Actually, came by it by chance. It's such a great song.
